Cultural Night Enlivens UNIPMA PPG 2026 KMD–KML Program with “Nusantara” Theme

UNIPMA – A cultural arts night became one of the highlights enlivening the series of Basic Scout Leader Training (Kursus Pembina Pramuka Mahir Tingkat Dasar / KMD) and Advanced Scout Leader Training (Kursus Pembina Pramuka Mahir Tingkat Lanjutan / KML) for the Teacher Professional Education (PPG) prospective teacher program at Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) in 2026. The event, held at the GOR Cendekia UNIPMA yard on Wednesday (24/6), was attended by all participants, trainers, committee members, supervising lecturers, and invited guests.

Carrying the “Nusantara” theme, the cultural night served as a platform for participants to showcase creativity and teamwork while introducing the diversity of Indonesian arts and culture. Unlike a competition, the event was designed as an artistic expression space, entertainment, and an effort to strengthen camaraderie among participants after completing various scouting theory and practical sessions.

Riskhi, a member of the UNIPMA Scout Student Unit (UKM Pramuka), said the cultural night provided an opportunity for participants to demonstrate their abilities while building togetherness throughout the KMD–KML program.

“Not only talent and art were presented, but KMD–KML participants also showcased and embraced the diversity of Indonesian culture,” he said.

Each group presented different performances. The KMD Penegak group performed the song “Negoro Angin,” the KMD Penggalang A group presented a short drama combined with Nusantara songs, the KML Penggalang group performed the Maumere dance, the KMD Penggalang B group sang “Yamko Rambe Yamko” and “Sugeng Dalu,” while the KML Siaga group performed the Rama Sinta and Anoman dance.

The event, chaired by Andista Candra Yusro, S.Pd., M.Pd., aimed to provide space for participants to express creativity, develop artistic talents, strengthen teamwork, and foster a spirit of brotherhood and diversity.

Through the cultural night, the committee hopes participants will become more cohesive, confident, appreciative of Indonesia’s cultural diversity, and build harmonious relationships as future educators.
