UNIPMA – Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) opened a communication platform between students and the university leadership through a dialogue forum held at the Integrated Laboratory on Friday (July 24). Initiated by the UNIPMA Student Executive Board (BEM) through the Ministry of Advocacy, the event served as a platform for students to express their aspirations, provide feedback, and share appreciation regarding academic and student affairs.

The dialogue forum was attended by Vice Rector I Prof. Dr. Marheny Lukitasari, M.Pd., representing the Rector, Vice Rector III Dr. Jeffry Handhika, M.Pd., Head of the Student Affairs Bureau Dr. Elly's Mersina Mursidik, M.Pd., along with the Student Affairs Bureau staff. Representatives from Student Activity Units (UKM) and Student Associations (HMPS) from various faculties also participated in the discussion.

During the event, students had the opportunity to engage directly with the university leadership through a question-and-answer session. Representatives from UKM and HMPS presented questions, perspectives, and appreciation regarding the programs and services provided by UNIPMA. The discussion served as a shared evaluation platform to strengthen the development of campus life.

Head of the Student Affairs Bureau, Dr. Elly's Mersina Mursidik, M.Pd., stated that open communication between students and the university leadership is an essential part of creating a supportive campus environment.

"We hope this forum will become a space for discussion where we can work together to advance UNIPMA while broadening our perspectives," she said.

Various topics were discussed during the forum, ranging from the learning process, academic services, and student support facilities to student organizational activities. Every suggestion and concern raised by the students received direct responses from the university leadership according to their respective areas of responsibility.

Chairperson of the organizing committee, Abdul 'Aziz, explained that the forum was designed to provide students with a direct channel to convey their aspirations to the university leadership without intermediaries.

"We hope students will have a platform to express their aspirations directly so that the solutions generated can support both academic activities and student organizations," he said.

Through the dialogue, UNIPMA and its students fostered a more open two-way communication. The university hopes this initiative will become a sustainable agenda for gathering student aspirations, strengthening collaboration, and creating a healthy, interactive campus environment that supports the learning process.
