UNIPMA — Students of the Accounting Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA), introduced the Accounting Education Study Program to students of SMAN 1 Geger, Madiun.

The activity was part of the work program of the Accounting Education Study Program Student Association (Himadiksi) Goes to School and was held on Tuesday (11/8).

Carrying the theme “Financial Literacy Go To School through Basic Accounting Equation Counseling,” the activity aimed to improve students’ financial literacy and understanding of basic accounting concepts.

The counseling session was delivered by Friscyla and Lilys. After the presentation, students participated in a quiz using Quizizz to test their understanding of the material presented. The activity continued with a socialization session about the Accounting Education Study Program led by the Head of the Study Program, Dr. Nur Wahyuning Sulistyowati, S.E., M.Pd., and concluded with a question-and-answer session with the students.

SMAN 1 Geger welcomed and appreciated the implementation of the activity. Meanwhile, Dr. Nur Wahyuning Sulistyowati, S.E., M.Pd., also accompanied the activity.

The person in charge of the activity, Angelina Bertha Aprilya Putri Sabrina, explained that the activity was a work program of Himadiksi, not a community service grant from lecturers.

“Through this activity, students are expected to gain an understanding of financial literacy and the Basic Accounting Equation,” said Angelina.

The Financial Literacy Program Go To School will continue at several other schools. The series of activities is expected to provide students with valuable insights into financial literacy and accounting.

“This activity is expected to broaden students’ knowledge of financial literacy and accounting and provide benefits for both students and schools,” Angelina concluded.
