UNIPMA — The Student Executive Board (BEM) of Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) held a group exercise session and Independence Day Games to strengthen togetherness and teamwork among members on Sunday (16/8).

The event, held in front of the UNIPMA Student Activity Unit (UKM) Building, was part of a series of LKMM-TM BEM UNIPMA activities. The event began with a group exercise session, followed by several team-based competitions.

Three games were held: group nail insertion, water relay, and ballboys. Each game was designed to develop teamwork, communication, concentration, and sportsmanship among participants.

Rizki Arum Ningtias, the person in charge of the event, said in an interview that the activity was not only intended to celebrate the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia. The games also provided an opportunity for BEM members to interact in a more relaxed atmosphere.

“This activity is an opportunity to strengthen togetherness and teamwork among members,” Rizki said.

The games were selected based on the skills intended to be developed within each team. The nail insertion game, for example, required participants to maintain coordination so that the task could be completed together.

Meanwhile, the water relay relied on teamwork, precision, and speed. The ballboys game emphasized concentration, strategy, and communication among participants.

The series of games made the activity more than just physical exercise, as it also tested how participants worked together in teams. Sportsmanship was also emphasized throughout the competitions.

Rizki hopes the activity will strengthen relationships among BEM members after completing the LKMM-TM series. According to her, a strong sense of togetherness is needed to help members build better communication and cooperation in carrying out organizational activities.

“Hopefully, participants can enjoy the activity while also building teamwork and sportsmanship within their teams,” Rizki said.

Through the group exercise and Independence Day Games, the commemoration of Independence Day within BEM UNIPMA was packaged as a collective activity involving all participants. The event also served as part of an effort to foster togetherness amid the organization’s activities.
