Celebrating UNIPMA 2026 Anniversary, Inter-Study Program Volleyball Tournament Joined by 16 Teams
UNIPMA – The inter-study program (prodi) volleyball tournament is one of the events enlivening the Student Sports and Arts Week (PORSEMA) of Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) 2026. The competition, held at the volleyball court of GOR Cendekia as part of the 51st Anniversary with the theme “UNIPMA Excelling in Work, Making an Impact for the Nation,” took place in an orderly and safe manner and received high enthusiasm from participants.
A total of 16 teams from various study programs within UNIPMA took part in this competition organized by the university. This event became a platform for students to showcase their sports abilities while also strengthening togetherness between study programs in the spirit of the anniversary celebration.
Subah Bagus Prayoga, as the head of the committee, said that the matches ran smoothly from the beginning through the subsequent rounds. “The volleyball sport event was carried out in an orderly manner, and the participants were very conducive and lively,” he said on Wednesday (3/6) yesterday.
The tournament uses a knockout system, meaning any team that loses is immediately eliminated and cannot proceed to the next round. This system makes each match highly competitive, as all teams strive to secure victory in order to stay in the competition.
Subah added that all participating teams come from study programs within UNIPMA. To maintain match quality, the committee assigned licensed referees who hold certification at the regency and city levels. Their presence is expected to ensure that the matches run professionally and objectively. “The referees are licensed at the regency and city levels,” he explained.
In addition to competing for the championship title, the best teams will receive awards from the committee in the form of trophies and development funds. These awards are given as a form of appreciation for achievements during the competition.
Through the organization of this volleyball tournament, PORSEMA 2026 is not only a sports competition platform for students but also a means of strengthening togetherness and participation among the academic community in celebrating the UNIPMA Anniversary.
