UNIPMA – Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) has appointed 57 lecturers as recipients of the 2026 internal grants for research and community service. This program aims to strengthen the quality of research, scientific publications, and expand academic networks toward becoming a globally competitive university.

The signing of the internal grant contracts was held in Rooms 301–302, Campus 1 UNIPMA, on Wednesday (24/6), attended by university leaders and the grant recipient lecturers. “The participation of lecturers in this internal grant program shows that the research culture at UNIPMA is continuing to grow and strengthen,” he stated.

He emphasized that research and community service should not stop at administrative aspects alone, but must generate real impacts for both society and the institution.

“How these research and community service programs can reach all fields and create impact. In the future, research themes will be elaborated in greater detail, especially those related to the SDGs within the tridharma of higher education,” he added.

Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd., also encouraged student involvement in research and community service activities to create a more productive and collaborative academic ecosystem on campus.

He added that the internal grant program also serves as a capacity-building platform before lecturers apply for more competitive external grants.

“The hope is that more external grants will be successfully obtained, and this internal grant program becomes a training ground so that our research becomes more mature. Prepare the reports properly and correctly,” he said.

In addition, UNIPMA also emphasized the importance of research directions that support the achievement of the SDGs as part of the university’s contribution to sustainable development.
