Through Campus Hiring & Walk-in Interviews, UNIPMA Connects the World of Work for Students

UNIPMA — The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) together with the Alumni Association (IKA) of Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) and BTPN Syariah held a Campus Hiring & Walk-in Interview event alongside the MSME Expo at Graha Cendekia on Friday (7/6). This activity is an effort by the university to connect students and prospective graduates with the world of work through a direct recruitment process.

Campus Hiring and Walk-in Interviews are recruitment mechanisms that allow companies to select prospective employees within a university environment. Through this activity, participants have the opportunity to go through selection stages directly, from interviews to recruitment processes according to company needs.

For universities, this program is one of the strategies to increase graduate absorption in the workforce. In addition to strengthening partnerships between campuses and the industrial world, this activity also provides students with real experience regarding job selection processes before they graduate.

One of the participants, a Management Study Program student at UNIPMA, Elsa Erianta, said she gained a positive experience during the interview process. “This activity is very helpful in preparing ourselves to enter the workforce. In today’s competitive job market, forums like this are a very meaningful opportunity,” she said.

A similar statement was conveyed by another Management student, Mona Fatihatorahmah. She stated that the interview process went smoothly and the questions given were easy for participants to understand. “Campus Hiring & Walk-in Interviews are an effective means of bridging students in obtaining information about the industrial world,” she said.

Through this activity, UNIPMA together with BTPN Syariah hopes to open more career opportunities for students and graduates, while also strengthening synergy between universities and the industrial world in preparing job-ready human resources.
