UNIPMA – The Bureau of Cooperation and Public Relations (BKH) of Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) encourages faculties and study programs to evaluate and follow up on established partnerships. This effort was carried out through a socialization session on performance evaluation and the preparation of cooperation documents, led by the Vice Rector III of UNIPMA, Dr. Jeffry Handhika, M.Pd., M.Si., and attended by representatives of 28 study programs and five faculties on Thursday (7/5), earlier this year. The evaluation focused not only on document completeness but also on the implementation and follow-up of partnerships so that their benefits can be measured.

Head of BKH UNIPMA, Dr. Sri Lestari, M.Pd., reported that the activity focused on strengthening understanding of the management, evaluation, and administration of partnerships. Evaluation is necessary to ensure that ongoing partnerships provide benefits and have clear follow-up actions.

“The success of a partnership is measured not only by the signing of documents but also by its implementation in the field,” she said on Thursday (20/8).

According to Dr. Sri Lestari, M.Pd., every partnership needs to have a measurable direction for follow-up. This is important to ensure that partnerships do not stop at administrative documents but can provide benefits for institutional development.

“Every partnership established should provide tangible benefits and have measurable follow-up actions for institutional development,” she added.

The socialization session also discussed partnership administration governance so that faculties and study programs have a shared understanding of managing cooperation documents. BKH also encouraged academic units to map out partnership opportunities that align with the development needs of study programs and faculties.

These partnership opportunities include collaborations at both the national and international levels. Regular evaluation of existing documents is expected to help maintain the relevance and sustainability of partnerships.

“A deep understanding of partnership management and evaluation is absolutely crucial,” concluded Dr. Sri Lestari, M.Pd.

In addition to BKH, the activity involved the Bureau of New Student Admissions (PMB) as well as the Alumni and Career Development Bureau. PMB presented strategic programs for new student admissions, while the Alumni and Career Development Bureau outlined career readiness programs and efforts to strengthen alumni networks.

The involvement of the three bureaus in the activity brought together several university strategic programs with faculties and study programs. The information presented is expected to serve as a basis for follow-up actions at the work-unit level.

For BKH, partnership evaluation is part of efforts to strengthen partnership governance within UNIPMA. Measurable implementation and follow-up are also expected to support academic development and institutional needs.
