UNIPMA — Four alumni of Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) have been given the opportunity to pursue further studies while preparing for careers in Taiwan through the INTENSE Program (International Industrial Talents Education Special Program) in 2026. They are Berliana Safinatu Qolbi (Mathematics Education), Citra Ayu Diah Pitaloka and Rahma Arlia Putri (English Education), and Sita Susanti (Management).

After completing the selection process, they will continue their studies at the Department of Civil and Construction Engineering, Chaoyang University of Technology (CYUT), Taiwan. The program provides not only academic experience but also Mandarin language learning and work experience at partner companies.

One of the alumni, Sita Susanti, said in an interview that the opportunity provides a chance to experience both the academic and industrial environments at the same time.

“This program provides both academic and industrial experience, as well as an overview of career development opportunities in Taiwan,” Sita said on Thursday (August 20).

The opportunity began with information about the INTENSE Program obtained through UNIPMA. The four alumni then prepared themselves and went through several stages of selection before eventually being chosen as participants.

Sita said the program was appealing because it offered a comprehensive range of experiences, from international education and Mandarin language learning to exposure to the industrial sector.

“This opportunity is part of the preparation to develop ourselves and our careers in an international environment,” she added.

For the four alumni, traveling to Taiwan is not merely about continuing their education. The experience is also an opportunity to broaden their horizons, learn about different work cultures, and develop their ability to adapt to a global environment.

They hope that the experience gained through the INTENSE Program will serve as a foundation for building their careers while opening up new opportunities after completing their studies.

The four alumni also hope that more UNIPMA students and alumni will take advantage of educational and career development opportunities through international partnerships.
