UNIPMA — Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) commemorated the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia through a flag-raising ceremony at the UNIPMA Integrated Laboratory Courtyard on Monday (17/8), yesterday. The event was attended by university leaders, lecturers, education staff, and students.

The ceremony, which began at 7:00 a.m. Western Indonesia Time (WIB), carried the theme “A Sovereign, Just, and Prosperous Indonesia.” UNIPMA Rector, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd., served as the ceremony leader.

The independence commemoration was not merely an annual agenda held every August 17, but also served as a moment for UNIPMA to instill national values within the campus environment.

Through the event, UNIPMA encouraged the academic community to strengthen the spirit of mutual cooperation, innovation, and competitiveness as part of the university’s contribution to national development.

These values form part of UNIPMA’s commitment to building an academic culture rooted in national spirit. The university also places the role of its academic community as part of efforts to realize an Indonesia that is empowered, just, and sustainable.

All participants attended the ceremony in an orderly and solemn manner until the entire series of activities was completed. Lecturers and education staff wore UNIPMA’s blue uniforms, while students also took part in the ceremony alongside the university leadership.
